The automatic, higher-volume King Seiko, built on the Suwa 56-series (28,800 bph) — the same family as the 56GS — which is why most automatic King Seikos carry Suwa movements despite KS's Daini heritage, a fact that confuses newcomers. Calibers 5625 (date) and 5626 (day/date, often chronometer-rated) offered quickset and hacking; the 5626 chronometer in silver or blue is a perennial favorite. The most attainable vintage KS.
